Privacy policy

TCGping is an independent price-comparison service for sealed trading card game products across European stores, operated by Flentier. For data-protection matters, contact privacy@tcgping.com. See our legal notice for full operator details.

Account & alert data. If you create an account or set a price alert, we store your email address, the products and target prices you ask us to watch, and basic account timestamps. We use passwordless sign-in, so we never store a password.

Billing data. If you subscribe to Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details; we keep only a subscription reference and status needed to give you access.

Usage & analytics data. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, rough country, device type). Depending on the tool in use, this may be fully cookieless or may set analytics cookies — where cookies that require consent are used, we ask for your consent first. We also log outbound clicks to retailers to measure which comparisons are useful; these logs are not used to build advertising profiles.

We process your email and alert preferences to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract / your request). We process billing data to manage your subscription. We process analytics and click data on the basis of your consent and/or our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site, balanced against your privacy.

We email you only for things you opted into: confirming an alert, the price-drop and restock notifications you requested, account sign-in links, and essential service or billing messages. Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can manage or delete alerts from your account at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that make TCGping work — for example our hosting and database provider, email-delivery provider, payment processor (Stripe) and analytics provider — and only as far as needed to run the service. Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep account and alert data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your alerts or ask us to close your account, we remove the associated personal data, except where we must keep limited records (for example billing records) to meet legal obligations.

Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email privacy@tcgping.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We'll change the “last updated” date above, and for significant changes we'll give notice where appropriate.
